If your car is due for a service, then Competition Tyres is the place to take it. We have the facilities to service all types of cars and light commercial vehicles. Our service does not simply consist of changing your car's oil and oil filter. We take the time to also inspect your vehicle from top to bottom and complete a 75 point safety check which consists of items such as road testing, light check, underbody check, exhaust check, suspension, steering, braking, under bonnet top ups and we supply a written report. All cars are then washed and vacuumed before being double checked by one of our qualified team before being picked up.

If your new car is due for a service and is still under warranty, don't hesitate to bring it in to Competition Tyres . We follow strict guidelines to ensure your new car is serviced in accordance with manufacturer's specifications, therefore not voiding your warranty whatsoever. While we are servicing your new vehicle, we pay particular attention to warranty items and we'll be able to advise you of any warranty work that may need attention. Under most circumstances we can organise for your warranty work to be done by the manufacturer, and inspect the quality of their repairs prior to you collecting your vehicle.

Today's vehicles are becoming very technical indeed, to the point where a late model vehicle can be in a poor state of tune, yet not necessarily display a durability symptom. Conversely, the vehicle may exhibit
driveability
symptoms which a tune may not rectify.
Cleaning your entire fuel system is a yearly maintenance procedure that in reality replaces the tune up in older model car's. Basic maintenance such as plugs, leads etc. are still a necessity.

At Competition Tyres we can cater for all your car's braking requirements. We can overhaul or replace any hydraulic items of your car's braking system, from 'Master Cylinders' to 'calipers, 'wheel cylinders', 'proportioning valves and even 'ABS pumps".
Central brake maintenance is followed, from brake pad replacement and disc machining, to older style brake, shoe and drum systems.

Your car's cooling system is a very important part of your car indeed. Therefore it should be regularly maintained to ensure hassle free motoring. When we service your cooling system here at Competition Tyres, we check items such as: water pump, thermostat, radiator, hoses, heater core, radiator cap etc. and flush the entire system. Then we refill your cooling system with antifreeze/anti-boil coolant and bleed the system to ensure no air locks occur.
